Kishida’s Mona Lisa

This artwork is one of a series created by Kishida Ryūsei, using his own daughter as the model. This particular oil painting depicts her at around seven or eight years of age and is said to have been inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and the works of Francisco de Goya, Spain's greatest court painter.
